Capturing a Screen Recording

iOS has a built in screen recording feature that you can use to make a short video of Daily Routine in action. This is very useful when trying to describe bugs. A 5 second video can cut out a lot of typing, waiting and confusion for both you and the Daily Routine team. You have control over what is recorded.

  1. Go to Settings Settings app icon > Control Center, then tap the Insert Screen Recording button next to Screen Recording.

  2. Return to Daily Routine

  3. Open Control Centre

    • On an iPhone with Face ID: Swipe down from the top-right of the phone screen

    • On an iPhone with a Home button: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen

  4. In Control Centre, tap the Screen Recording button, then wait for the three-second countdown.

  5. To stop recording, open Control Centre, tap the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.
